Weekly Photo Challenge – Variations.

I have had the following series of images uploaded to WordPress for 5 years now (almost), and I have never really found the reason to actually publish them.

But then I saw this weeks Photo Challenge!

At the time (and every year from then) I have been attempting to take the image of the carpet of Bluebells. You know, that one.

As the years have gone by I have spent more time with newer lenses and different times of the day (or doing it properly).  Back in 2013 I went with the Photoshop sledgehammer.  As such I wasn’t that happy with the pictures, I like them. I ike them a lot, but they are heavily photoshopped images that bear little resemblance to either the original snap and the image in my head.

But here we are, its 2018…and its probably now or never.

So, image 1 – the original. Minimal (if any) Photoshop.

Then we have this, with just basic tweaking.

Then we go to the rabbit hole…

Clent Hills Bluebell wood.

Then we fall in…

Clent Hills Bluebell wood.

Then it gets dark…

Clent Hills Bluebell wood.

Then we call it a day, wait 5 years and then post with but a tenuous excuse.

And say, as always, thanks for looking.
