I haven’t been around much lately, real life is a bitch sometimes.
Last month (seems a lifetime ago!) my wife, my camera, faithful hound and I had a weekend on Betws-y-Coed, Wales.
This place has been featured on this blog before, and there are many photos from the woods up above the village.
But what I don’t believe I have done much with in the past is take some photos of the remnants of the old mining industry in those woods. There are many old walls, abandoned buildings and other skeletal remains of human habitation from a century ago.
So here will follow a short series on old and abandoned structures in the Gwydyr Forest.
Thanks for looking.
