A Flamingo (well technically three), posing nicely for the camera.
I am always happy when I get to use my 70-200mm L. Its is such a great lens, but somewhat specialist in its application. And yesterday (30/07/2014) I was fortunate to visit the Slimbridge Wetland Center. For me these Flamingos were the stars of the show, they have such an alien look to them.
Very kindly these birds stayed at just the right range to get some nice snaps of them through the long end of the 70-200.
To my mind they should almost be running around some alien planet, but then I probably just have an overactive imagination.
