Foggy April in foggy Wales at foggy Harlech.

I like the barely visible pylon in the distance, and I thought it would be worth uploading.

I think it could probably do with some tighter cropping, or maybe a mono conversion…

Deliberate Mistake.

I thought this might be worth adding to this blog. I understand how one goes about creating this type of image…but I have to confess that I didn’t do it deliberately.

I was about to delete the file, but I thought I might as well have a quick fiddle about in Photoshop and see what the results would be.

And, truth be told, I like it.

Either the tree is exploding or it has just entered warp drive (yes, I have just seen the new Star Trek film).

I would of course be happy to hear your opinions on the subject.

Have a look at the Nik Silver version also, which I think I prefer. I think it looks much like an impressionistic painting., but what do I know?

Weekly Photo Challenge: Escape

For this weekly photo challenge I am unsure.

“Escape”…I think perhaps “Dwarfed” or “Humbled” might be a better adjective.

That being said, I am curious as to what people think about this shot.

Are the teeny tiny people escaping from the oncoming storm towards us? Or are we the threat and the mountains a safe retreat? (oooh deep!).

Are they even escaping at all and in fact are frozen at the sight of impending doom?

Or is it just about to rain and the moody mono makes a (nice) drama out of a non-crisis?

Answers on a postcard, or failing that in the comments field below.:)

Five Posts, five floral subjects.

Not necessarily my best, but certainly my most colorful!

Anyway, a yellow flower from my travels in Harlech. I have not a clue as to it’s species, if someone of keen botanical insight can give me a hint that would be nice.

Next up…something greener.

Just for a change of pace, in contrast to the very green and colorful images of the past few entries, I felt it time to return to some good old mono mystery.

So enjoy (hopefully) the brooding skies, grim mountains and harsh nature.
