Kirkstone Pass, The Beginning.
The Kirkstone Pass is, not surprisingly, a pass that takes you from Ambleside to Patterdale in the Lake District. It is a journey that takes you from one of the valleys to heights well above the snowline (or at least it did this February). The views are spectacular!
If you are ever in the Lakes I can recommend the journey, there is a lovely pub at the top…which according the Wikipedia is the third highest pub in the UK.
I want to know what and where the other two are!

Beautiful. I love how you chose to photograph this scene in black and white; it really brings out the texture of those stone fences!
I really like your Lake District images. I recognised this as Kirkstone Pass as soon as I looked at it. The Lakes is a beautiful part of England.
Thanks for saying so, and I agree.
The Lakes are amazing.
