Windermere Randoms
I have been trying to decide which Lake District photo (of which there are many more to come) to post up next.
And after editing and re-editing a small selection of images, I noticed this one. Just sitting there quietly and not making a fuss.
And I realized that I am quite fond of it, enough at least to do a basic mono conversion.
I doubt National Geographic will be beating my door down any time soon, but it was taken on a beautiful and calm morning and I can’t help but smile with the memory of being there.

I have only been there a handful of times, and every time I remember how much I love the place and I tell myself I need to back again soon.
And then it generally works out that it takes 10 years to get back there.
